Four whole days — arrive Friday, leave Monday. This is not a one-day affair.
Over half our guests are under 18. Children aren't just welcome — they're the party.
Yurts, cabins, bunkhouses, camping. We've got the whole place to ourselves.
We've got a band. We've got decks. Anyone can DJ. Bring your energy.

Four days. One big party. Here's the shape of it.
Roll in from lunchtime, crack out the picnic blanket, and get settled. No schedule — just find your yurt and breathe.
Arrive any time from noon. The site's yours to explore. Unpack, find your accommodation, then get the picnic out on the grass. This is your time to settle in and meet everyone gradually.
The site is huge — fields, barns, the yurt village. Let the children loose while the grown-ups get their bearings. Hot tub bookings start here.
Once everyone's in we'll gather for a welcome drink in the barn. Casual, relaxed, no dress code. Just saying hello properly.
Campfire, stars, a guitar if someone's brought one. Early night optional — you've got a big day tomorrow.
Mike will be in a green suit. Gemma will be beautiful. Everything else will sort itself out.
Wake up, eat well, get ready at your own pace. The get-ready rooms are available for the bridal party from early morning. Everyone else — enjoy breakfast and soak it all in.
We're getting married in the outdoor ceremony field with the Shropshire hills as the backdrop. Exact time to be confirmed — watch this space. Relaxed dress code — come as yourself, come as something wonderful.
While the grown-ups do the drinks reception thing, the little ones get their own entertainment. We've got a clown on — kids are properly catered for.
Dinner is on us — a proper wedding feast for everyone. Come hungry. More details on the menu page.
We've got a band. We've also got decks — and anyone who fancies a go can DJ. Speeches somewhere in here too. Dance until you can't. The night is very long and very ours.
Let your hair down. Sunday has no ceremony, no structure and no expectations. Just a brilliant day with brilliant people.
Sleep in. Recover. There's no rush. Find coffee, find friends, find a sunny spot.
We'll have food provisions sorted — more details closer to the time. Sunday is the day you weren't expecting to have this much fun. Games, music, kids running riot, adults not far behind.
Campfire. Guitars. Stories. Probably someone dancing again. Sunday night has no plan — and that IS the plan.
All good things. The Shropshire hills will still be there — but it's time to head home.
One last coffee. One last look at those hills. Take your time — just not too much time.
Checkout by noon please. Drive home safely, drive home smiling. Thank you for being part of it.

We've got the whole venue — 11 named glamping units, plus camping
We've booked all of Barnutopia for the weekend — exclusively ours from Friday to Monday. On-site accommodation sleeps up to 55 guests across yurts, cabins, bunkhouses and stables. There's also camping space if you'd rather bring a tent.
Tell us your preference on the RSVP form and we'll be in touch with your allocation. All units have heaters — but it's August in Shropshire, you'll probably be fine. Bring layers anyway.

Postcode SY10 9BS works in most sat navs. The last mile is country lanes — take it steady. Parking on site.
Nearest station is Gobowen (about 10 miles). Connections via Shrewsbury or Wrexham. Taxi from Gobowen takes ~20 minutes.
Mention on your RSVP if you need a lift or can offer one — we'll try to match people up. Local taxi numbers to follow.
We want everyone home safely. If you're drinking, stay on site — there's room. Non-negotiable.
Festival smart — come as something joyful
There is no formal dress code. Mike will be in a green suit. Gemma will be gorgeous. Everything in between is fair game.
Think festival smart — floaty dresses, linen suits, dungarees, flower crowns, wellies if you're feeling it. Comfort matters — you'll be on grass and farm ground for four days.

Comfortable footwear is essential. Heels on grass is a bad time. Wellies, trainers, or flat sandals are your friends.
August in Shropshire — it'll probably be gorgeous. But pack a warm layer for evenings. The temperature drops once the sun goes down.
More colour the better. Florals, brights, pastels, prints — the more joyful the better.
Dress them for fun, not for a school photo. They're going to get muddy, grass-stained and happy. That's the point.
Band, decks, open DJ — what should get played?
Saturday night has a live band and open decks. Anyone who wants to DJ can DJ. There'll also be a playlist running throughout the whole weekend. Tell us what to play — we'll genuinely use these.

Come hungry — Saturday's dinner is on us
🍽️ Saturday dinner is fully provided — a proper wedding feast. We're working with Barnutopia on the catering and will update this page once the menu is confirmed.
Breakfast is also provided on Saturday morning. Sunday will have food provisions on site. BYOB for drinks generally — though some drinks will be provided at the Saturday reception.
Make sure you tell us about any dietary requirements on your RSVP — we take this seriously and want everyone fed properly.

More than welcome — they're the majority. Over half our guests are children. We've got a clown for the little ones on Saturday, huge outdoor space to run around in, and the whole festival vibe is designed with families in mind. Please bring your children.
Relaxed and joyful. Mike is wearing a green suit. Gemma will be beautiful. Everything else is fair game. Think festival smart — floaty, colourful, comfortable. You'll be on grass, so leave the stilettos at home.
Bring your own booze for the weekend generally — bring what you like to drink. We'll have drinks at the Saturday reception and some provisions, but for the wider weekend bring your own. A cool box, a crate, whatever works.
Yes! We have decks and anyone who wants a go can have a go. No experience needed — just enthusiasm and a decent playlist. Get your track list ready.
Not at all — Saturday is the essential one. But the more of the weekend you can do the better. The Friday arrival and Sunday festival day are genuinely wonderful and we'd love to have you for all of it.
Bedding is provided in glamping units, towels in most. Bring: warm layers for evenings, outdoor footwear, sun cream and waterproofs (it's Britain), your BYOB, a torch for navigating at night, and a picnic for Friday arrival.
Yes — on-site parking at Barnutopia. The approach is narrow country lanes so take it easy on the last mile. Consider sharing a car if you're travelling with others.
Your presence is genuinely the gift. If you'd like to do something, a contribution towards the honeymoon would be lovely — but please feel absolutely zero obligation. Just come and have a brilliant time.
Barnutopia allows dogs in some accommodation. Please get in touch with us directly before assuming — we'll check what's possible for your specific unit.
